1. Who’s who
“ClassAddmin”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Modularpath Systems Ltd, a company registered in Ghana and operating the ClassAddmin service at classaddmin.com.
“You”, “your school”, and “customer” refer to the school that has subscribed to ClassAddmin and accepted these terms through its proprietor, head teacher, or other duly authorised representative.
“The service” means the ClassAddmin web app, mobile app, parent portal, API, and any related vendor and admin tools we operate.
2. Accepting these terms
By signing up, paying a subscription invoice, or letting your staff use the service, you confirm that you have authority to bind your school to these terms and that you accept them on its behalf.
If you don’t agree to any part of the terms, don’t use the service.
3. Your account
3.1 Eligibility
Accounts are created for registered private schools operating in Ghana (Nursery, KG, Primary, JHS, or any combination). The named account holder must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the school.
3.2 Your staff and pupils
You’ll invite your own staff into the service under role-based permissions we provide. You’re responsible for who you invite and for revoking access promptly when someone leaves your school.
3.3 Credentials
Keep usernames, passwords, and one-time codes private. Tell us immediately at security@classaddmin.com if you suspect any account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by credentials shared or stolen through your side of the line.
4. Trial, subscription and billing
4.1 Free trial
New schools get a 30-day free trialwith no card required. During the trial you have access to the features of the plan you signed up for. We’ll email a renewal reminder on or around day 25.
4.2 Plans and fees
Plan pricing is published at classaddmin.com/pricingin Ghana Cedis (GH₵), inclusive of any applicable taxes. We bill monthly through Paystack (MoMo, Visa, Mastercard) or, on request for annual plans, by bank transfer.
4.3 Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. If a renewal payment fails, the service enters a 7-day grace periodduring which the app becomes read-only — your data stays put but you can’t edit. Renewing within grace restores full access immediately.
4.4 Changing or cancelling
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@classaddmin.com. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. We don’t pro-rate refunds for partial months, but we won’t lock you out either — your data exports as CSV at no extra cost up to 30 days after cancellation.
4.5 Price changes
We may revise plan prices once per academic year. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ noticeby email before any change takes effect. You can cancel without penalty if you don’t accept the new price.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break Ghanaian law or the laws of any country where you, your staff, or your pupils’ guardians are based;
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights;
- attempt to access another school’s data, probe our security boundaries, or interfere with the service’s normal operation;
- scrape, copy, or resell the service or any part of it without our written permission;
- use the SMS or email channels to send marketing communications unrelated to your own school’s activities.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken (see section 9).
6. Your data
Records you create in ClassAddmin — pupils, guardians, staff, invoices, marks, attendance, messages — remain your data. We act as a data processor on your instructions; see our Data Processing Addendum for the operational detail and our Privacy Policy for how we handle the small amount of data we collect as a controller (e.g. account sign-in details, billing contact info).
On termination we delete your school’s personal data within 90 days, after offering an export. Backups roll out of our systems within a further 30 days. See the DPA for specifics.
7. Service availability
We target 99.5% monthly availability measured at our public API edge. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance on classaddmin.com/status and scheduled where possible outside Ghana school hours.
We don’t guarantee zero downtime. We do guarantee that, if we cause a sustained outage that you can demonstrate prevented critical school operations, we will (a) tell you what happened and (b) extend your next renewal at no charge, in proportion to the impact.
8. Intellectual property
ClassAddmin (the software, brand, copy, and design) is owned by Modularpath Systems Ltd. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your subscription. You retain ownership of the data you put into it and of any reports we generate from that data on your behalf.
If you give us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a free, perpetual licence to use it to improve the product. We’ll never publish identifiable feedback without your permission.
9. Suspension and termination
9.1 By you
Cancel at any time per section 4.4. No notice period required.
9.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if (a) you materially breach these terms and don’t cure the breach within 14 days of written notice, (b) your account remains unpaid past the 7-day grace window, or (c) we’re required to do so by law or by a competent regulator.
We will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before any termination, except where doing so would expose us to legal liability or compromise an active investigation.
10. Disclaimers
ClassAddmin is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Subject to applicable law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every requirement your school has — though that’s absolutely what we’re trying to build.
Reports, calculations and PDFs generated by the service are derived from the data you enter. You remain responsible for verifying figures (fees, grades, payroll) before relying on them for legal or financial decisions.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law (for example liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service that breaks these terms (for instance, sending unsolicited SMS to numbers your school hadn’t obtained consent for). We agree to indemnify you against claims that the service itself infringes a third-party’s intellectual-property rights.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email to your billing contact and via an in-app notice. Minor edits (typos, clarifications, sub-processor updates that are noticed elsewhere) take effect immediately on publication; we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page each time.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We’ll always try to resolve disputes amicably first. If we can’t, the courts of Accra have exclusive jurisdiction.
